The gay organisation's annual fundraising mission was held at London's Dorchester hotel on Park Lane, There was also featured keynote speeches from Navratilova and recently-out sportsman, Gareth Thomas.

Lots of celebraties attended the function such as Martina Navratilova and Sarah Waters joined politicians Angela Eagle and Harriett Harman at Stonewall's annual Gala Dinner, last night.

Last year, the event raised £280,000 for Stonewall’s campaigning work. This year's dinner was hosted by Amy Lamé and celebrity auctioneer Christopher Biggins.

Other attendees will include Nick Herbert, Chris Bryant, Waheed Alli, Val McDermid, Stella Duffy, Maggi Hambling, Paul Gambaccini, Mark Bolland, Sir Michael Bishop, Clare Balding and Beryl Bainbridge.

All funds raised will go towards Stonewall campaigns such as Education for All, tackling homophobic bullying in Britain’s schools.
