Obama: 'This reform will not save banks with public money'

President Barack Obama on Thursday at noon made a speech in New York to explain the White House plan to reform financial markets and give a last push for its approval, which is in the final stage in Congress. The President stressed that the reform will help prevent re-used public funds to save private banks.



"A vote for reform is a vote to end the bank bailouts funded by taxpayers. That is the truth." Punto Final ", stressed the president.



Obama took a few meters from Wall Street to ask the banks to climb on the bandwagon of reform, rather than put a spoke in its wheels. "Today I am here because I want to urge you to join us in this effort instead of fighting ...
